Around the Apollo Temple in the old city are various bars serving a variety of cocktails

At the end of the pedestrian zone in Side, next to the harbour, you will see a lighthouse on a small peninsula. This is the "Lighthouse Disco", where in the season Turkish Popstars make live appearances.

Just a short walk from the apartment is Club OXYD, the largest open air disco on the Eastern Mediterranean coast with 8.500 sqm. Built in a Byzantian style, this disco has space for more than 3.000 dancers, with up to the minute audio and laser lights. If you get too hot dancing in Oxyd, simply take a dip in the disco's pool.

Another good disco is "Sammy" in the middle of Side-Kumköy. This starts to liven up around midnight and plays host to Turkish bands, sometimes even an internationally famous band such as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers

During the last 2 weeks in September, Side hosts a festival of culture and art in the amphitheatre. This is extremely popular so if you want to go you should book your tickets in advance..

Side is a very popular destination for golfing holidays. During 2006 2 new 27 hole golf courses are scheduled to open in Side, a short distance from the apartment. Nearby Belek already has 5 top class golf courses.
